Somerset – Millfield School

After a pilot year of workshops at Millfield school, in September 2023 we ran a week-long project with over 200 students from the school and local primary pupils to put on a version of our Fairy Queen community opera. Led by Raph Clarkson, the show included 50 instrumentalists, dancers and actors from Millfield. Year 10 students joined us in primary schools to help pupils learn the material to become our choir full of sprites – with Glastonbury on their doorstep they took to this role very easily!
