German-born violinist Julia received her first violin lesson at the age of 5. She studied at the Mozarteum Salzberg and the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Outside of playing with OAE, Julia is a dedicated violin teacher and has taught modern and baroque violin across the globe. She is the artistic director for the St Blasius Early Music Summer Concert Series in Kaufbeuren, Germany, and even curated for our Night Shift 23/24 concert series!
