Martin Lawrence is one of our long-standing horn players - he has been playing with the OAE since 1995!
Martin grew up in Cumbria, before studying Physics at the University of York and then the horn at Trinity College of Music.
As well as playing with the OAE, he works with other ensembles such as the English Concert and Il Giardino Armonico, and is a qualified masseur!
Martin completed a PhD exploring performance anxiety. He then participated in a Night Shift gig exploring this topic.
