Having a brew backstage with conductor Maxim Emelyanychev.
What’s brewing backstage with the Orchestra?
Tea with Netty is our podcast hosted by viola player Annette Isserlis (Netty). Over a cuppa (or something a little stronger…), Netty chats with a variety of conductors, players and other guests as she ‘spills the tea’ on the side of classical music you don’t normally hear.
In August 2019, Netty caught up with conductor Maxim Emelyanychev at Glyndebourne, where he was conducting us in a production of Handel’s opera Rinaldo.
It’s the first of two Handel operas we are playing with Maxim in 2019. The second is Agrippina at the Royal House in September and October.
